and my profiles of model Teslyn Butler and the
band Unearthed in its debut issue in 2010.
Films
for Two published my article on screenwriter
Budd Schulberg in 2009.
"Labors
of Love," on a five-man jazz ensemble with
a collective 150 years of experience, appeared
in the November 2003 issue of The
Tap.

Here," a column on the Chicago music scene,

Tap.
ESSAYS
"Somehow,
the Scenes Still Happen," on writing with
the group that became Sansculottes, was published
in The Writing
Group Book (Edited by Lisa Rosenthal, Chicago
Review Press, 2003). A slightly modified
version appeared in the fall 2004 issue of Dramatics
magazine. The essay is now part of an undergraduate
class in comedy writing at UCLA.
"Self-Portrait in Discards," on love
and disposability, appeared in Conversely
(May 2002) and is still available in their online
archive.
